This 33 hectare farm is on Santa Cruz Island. Santa Cruz is the second-largest island in the Galápagos Archipelago. It has panoramic views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Although Santa Cruz is the most populous of the Galápagos islands, 95% of this spectacular island is Galápagos National Park land.

Giant Tortoises wander the property.  It is on the paved Salasaca Carretara, about 2 km from a picturesque village with a tiendá, restaurant, and great coffee shop. Many activities and places of interest are close by, including a giant tortoise sanctuary, Charles Darwin Research Station, lava tunnels, and much more.

For the protection of wildlife, Santa Cruz does not an allow airstrips on the island. So the small airport is on another island which is a very short ferry ride (1/2 km) north of Santa Cruz island. This farm is only about 15 minutes from the airport ferry by taxi. A taxi costs $5. One can bus anywhere on the island for $1. This island is a bicycler’s paradise!

This is a generational investment property. This island ~ and all of the Galápogos ~ is an IUCN World Heritage Site. You can live here, grow your own food, and bicycle to good restaurants, epic resorts, world-class national parks, turtle sanctuaries, and giant lava tubes.
