Two beach lots in the finest Coral Atoll in the world.

These two, small beach lots are on the eastern shore of Long Caye at Lighthouse Reef. Lighthouse Reef is a World Heritage Site, one of only 4 true coral atolls in our planet’s Western Hemisphere. A short boat ride away you will find the famous dive site, “The Blue Hole” ~ along with a dozen or more of the world’s most exciting scuba diving sites.

Lighthouse Reef is one of the most verdant coral reef habitats on earth. It is 50 miles offshore, within Belize’s spectacular Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Most visitors book boat travel to come here from the mainland, or from a distant island. However, on this island are several fantastic accommodations, including an excellent beach/ dive/ fishing resort. Yes, on this lot you could build a nice beach house for your family & friends.

Lighthouse Reef is a coral atoll, surrounded by coral reef structures. This atoll is 22 miles long and 5 miles wide, with five major islands and hundreds of patch reefs within. The eastern reef wall rises from the depth of the continental divide, over 6,000 ft. These coral barriers make Lighthouse Reef seem like a shallow lake, within the deeper Caribbean Sea. Whale sharks congregate along the west reef edge next to Long Caye in October. Dozens of famous dive sites surround Long Caye and the Reef, attracting scuba enthusiasts from everywhere.
Long Caye is a 650 acre island in the southern end of Lighthouse Reef. It is subdivided, with a master plan that includes an operating beach resort with restaurant and dive shop. Twice-weekly boat transport serves Long Caye to/from Belize City. Most of the island is in its natural state, with a wild variety of colorful jungle and sea birds. The interior of the island is a nursing ground for reef fish, including tarpon, permit, bonefish, barracuda, and many colorful fish that live within the surrounding coral reefs.
Here you can enjoy trophy flats & deep-sea fishing; world-class scuba & snorkeling; explore shipwrecks, and there are other islands to explore. Nearby Half Moon Caye is the National Park Headquarters, with docks, beaches, a small museum, and it is staffed by Belize Audubon and Belize Coastguard personnel. Northern Caye has an airstrip, beaches, and miles of excellent flats and lagoon fishing.
